I really like this cardigan. I like the colours and the design. But unfortunately it’s a horrible polyester, acrylic and nylon mix. Has anyone seen anything similar in wool? Thanks.

OMG I want that Duggie sleeveless one to wear to school pick ups to embarrass my teenagers! It’s amazing!

The Palava one is quite nice, but I’m not so keen on the colours, and it’s cotton which is not very warm.

Thanks for these suggestions. I’m after wool though. I know the Passenger one has some in, but it’s only 6% which is a bit token. I do like the design though.

@VenusClapTrapeven with a different fibre content the huge seam down the back of Passenger cardigan would annoy the hell out of me.

Have a look on Ebay for Dobrila cardigans - 100% wool, Yugoslavian. Don't know how you feel about pre-loved but there are usually some unworn, too.

I once had an amazing one by English Eccentrics but I hardly ever see their knitwear now, old or new.

Thanks for all these suggestions. I like some of them - I might get the Cotswold Outdoor one for dd for Christmas actually, as I think she’d love that.

But I was looking for a cardi really, rather than a jumper, and it does need to be wool. I’m suspicious of the ones that just say ‘wool blend’ as the proportion is often tiny.

I don’t know enough about fast fashion, fabrics, etc but I’d love to understand how they justify these prices for polyester.

The Sheep Inc ones are lovely, thank you. A shame the mountain one is only available in XXL but I’ll keep my eye on that company. I’m quite tempted by the sheep by night one!
