I went home in 2021 and never went back to the office, like many people.

I worked in a fairly formal environment and have a couple of very expensive pieces that I consider investment pieces. I have a coat which tbf I can wear elsewhere but because I live rurally I don't really see where or the point.

Over the intervening years I have done two things: got promoted fairly big time and put on weight.

I do now need smart clothes for various events.

I cannot afford or justify getting rid of my investment pieces... i'm going to have to lose weight arent I?

Trouble is I have a condition for which I'm on some heavy weight drugs which are absolutely notorious for piling on the weight. I'm not coming off, that would be disastrous.

Equally I cannot use WLI as they are an absolute contraindication to one of the mods.

HELP!!!!

You could sell your old clothes that don't fit and buy newer clothes with the money you make that do fit....

Agree with the sell and re-buy. Sell on Vintednand rebuy in your current size, it should be close to cost neutral.

I’m on drugs that are notorious for weight gain.

i have managed to keep it to a minimum but after strenuous efforts have concluded losing weight is not going to happen.

sell and buy new. Sorry.

i had to do the same.

I've gained weight in the last few years and ended up with nothing to wear but I felt so much better by buying new clothes that fitted so when I did go out I was comfortable.
