Can anyone recommend some comfortable warm and stretchy socks?!

I've had Bam, but they seem to wear through quickly, Thought, but don't really like any of the designs, and Bridgedale but found these overpriced and they ended up a bit baggy.

Can anyone recommend somewhere else to look!?

I have some merino wool ones from Grisport that have been great so far. I also have some older merino ones from Bridgedale that have lasted well. Not too thick or too thin.
Probably my favourite socks are some bamboo ones that DD bought me, I’ve no idea where from. They are soft and comfortable, hard wearing, and almost perfect for all 4 seasons - just not for hot or extremely cold days. I’ve had several pairs for years, they get chucked in the washing machine all the time and only one pair has worn out. If you’re interested I’ll see if she can remember where they came from.

I got some from Primark - they are lovely and stretchy and feel like a foot cuddle! I got one 3 pack of black and a 3 pack of different shades of brown.

Heatholders 2.3 tog socks are amazing, it's like wearing radiators on your feet.

The John Lewis wool socks at £12 a pair are pricey and need a gentle wash but they are thin and cosy

I like Seasalt. But like Bam they do wear through the heels fairly quickly
