& Other Stories makeup?

Hi

I’ve been living in a cave, as I’ve only just noticed & Other Stories does makeup too. I bagged one of their sheer lipsticks (Orchid Pink) today, which I like so far.

Has anyone tried their makeup? Which items from their range do you recommend? Equally if you think it’s rubbish, let me know that too!

I haven’t tried any of it, but often in passing (online) I notice their nail colours.

Jonathan Saunders took over as Chief Creative Officer this year, and I’m really seeing an upgrade in their clothes since September. But I haven’t recently gone into a store to see if the actual fabric quality has improved.

I did buy a beautiful little card wallet from them over the summer.

That’s interesting about JS, I didn’t know that @NorWouldTilly.

They had a deal in store this weekend on lip/nail colours (2 for 1), which is why I thought I’d try (that and the beautiful gold casing for their lipsticks).

I bought lipstick and nail polish on the two for one deal and I'm very happy with both. The lipstick is a great colour in a beautiful case and the polish lasts very well. Their fragrances are lovely too. I also got a nail polish free when I signed up for their loyalty scheme

Prompted by this thread I had a look on the site at the make-up.

The last two lipsticks I bought (shamefully long ago) were from Tom Ford and Gucci and I have to say in terms of visual appeal the Stories offerings were really quite tempting. And some of the colours looked perfect. If they’d only invested in virtual try on technology I’d probably be delivery tracking by now.
