Lost the detachable hood of my fave raincoat

I lost the detachable hood of my favourite Seasalt raincoat and I hate umbrellas ( huge pain on the Tube). I don't want to buy another raincoat. Will I look like Vera in a rain hat?

Contact them and see if there is any chance they have replacements?

I will on Monday but I doubt they will. So annoyed with myself.

Could you find the same colour coat on Vinted? Regardless of condition as long as the hood is good. I wonder if the size wouldn't matter, if all sizes have the same hood.

I have 2 identical cold weather coats in different colours. I lost one hood so I use the one left between the two coats. Not great because I have a dark grey hood for a dark grey coat and a green coat and it looks odd mixing the colours. It's mostly for walking the dogs so comfort is more important, that's why I've been putting up with this ridiculous situation.

You can buy a hood, I use one for my wool coats…

I have a navy hood. I lost the coat on the train, the hood was at home. Navy zip on.

Nope, they do not sell hoods separately. I am really considering the Vera route.
