Winter long skirts

This summer I lived in longish elasticated waist nice skirts with a tshirt. This suits my body as, as an apple, I really struggle to get trousers to fit.

I've had a good mooch online and in some shops and there are very few winter weight long elasticated waist skirts - those there are are satin or occasional wear. Is it that nobody wears skirts, tights and boots anymore or am I looking in the wrong places?

I went to John Lewis today - there were no long skirts at all. I checked Hush, White Stuff, everywhere!

@Swimmingbackwardshave you tried charity shops and Vinted ? On Vinted filter Y2K and vintage per Una , you can also filter for fabric and pattern . The quality is so much better than modern ones.
