Comfortable sandals for party

Do I go for a pair of Esska sandals or similar for a Christmas party? They seem to be very comfortable which is what I need for my arthritic foot! Ideally I would like a pair that would work all year round.
I have a black sequin midi dress, with nude tights. What should I go for?

I have Esska’s, and they are very comfortable. I have arthritis in both my knees and am awaiting a knee replacement in one of them and I can cope in my Esskas.

I don’t think they are most flattering with the ankle strap but I’ve got a right cankles so I wear them with long jeans or long skirts / dresses. Mine are open toe (I have the Charlie’s in platinum and also black velvet). I wouldn’t wear them with nude tights though, I’ve worn them with fishnets though.

the Valerie’s are closed toe but they are higher than the Charlie’s so you might struggle with your foot. They are fantastically comfortable though

@MabelMoo23oh good to hear. I would rather not have an ankle strap as well as my ankles are odd, one is slightly thicker due to torn ligaments.
I like the look of the Chilli or Casey in the black suede or velvet but none in my size.
There are some similar looking ones on Monsoon but only coloured velvet.

I have ordered these in the aubergine but I would really prefer them to be in black to get more wear. Hoping I won’t like them too much so I can get a more practical coloured pair!

They are beautiful @Isabelle70 - am sure you’ll love them

@MabelMoo23the aubergine shoes have arrived and they are comfortable not too high but I was expecting them to be cushioned? Are they still comfy with no cushioning?
I also purchased a pair from New Look, more budget friendly but slightly higher so not as comfortable.
Then thinking the aubergine is not a year round shade, went and ordered these in platinum! The t bar does give me school shoes vibes so I will have to see what they are like when they arrive.

@Isabelle70 it’s how stable they feel that makes them comfortable.

I have the platinum Charlie’s you’ve ordered. I wore them out in Birmingham last night and they were very comfy.

I don’t wear them with dresses as I’ve got right cankles, but with the right jeans they look fab

@MabelMoo23I have gone an ordered another pair! The Charlie in metallic black, a black shoe looks better with the dress and I will get more wear out a black shoe at the moment.
The platinum ones have arrived and are really nice so might see if they go on sale and get them sometime next year.
