What trousers do you wear in Autumn/Winter if size 16/18?

In summer, I lived in linen trousers but need something warmer now. I don't want to wear jeans daily. I WFH, and want something comfy I could also go to the supermarket in (not leggings!). I've completely lost my way since putting on weight after an accident and am now a size 16-18. What are others wearing?

When I was a 16 to 18 (now size 10 to 12) I wore a lot of fully elasticated trousers becsuse I was pear shaped with a small waist and nothing else fitted.
Depends what shape you are really apple, pear, curvy?

And also height makes a difference.

I wear jeggings mostly. And cord leggings. I'm not the most fashionable person though.

Next wide leg jersey jeans and also their barrel leg jersey jeans. I really love them!

Lucy and yak cords at the moment. Love them!

Thanks everyone. Completely forgotten about Next!

@EchoedSilence I'm far from fashionable too, just want something comfy for day to day and maybe a nicer pair for meals out etc.

@Gettingbysomehow I used to be an hour glass shape and I'm 168cm (5ft 6).

I'm about a size 14 at the moment, but still wearing similar styles to when I was a 16/18. I love cords, quite wide legged, sometimes slightly cropped to about ankle length. Also, wide legged wool trousers or an otherwise heavy fabric. I'm 5'8". I love it if the trousers have elastic at the waist, either fully or half elasticated, as, like a PP, my waist is significantly smaller than my hips. Some of my favourite at the moment are Seasalt asphodel cords (wide legged, slightly cropped).

Same sort of shape as me then and height. I always looked better in boot cut or kick flare.

Uniqlo wide legged jersey type trousers. Really comfy and smart enough for work. They are generous too so size down.
