Help style this sequin skirt

Hello stylish people.

I've bought this sequin m&s skirt for the festive period thinking it could be dressed up or down easily but now I've got it I've no idea how to style it all 🙈
I'm a size 12 curvy hourglass. Milk bottle skin so will need tights as even the palest of fake tan is orange on me!

I'm thinking of a dressier look for evening, a more smart casual look for festive drinks with friends and then something more casual for at home xmas day/boxing day gatherings. I've no idea on tops or shoes at all. I thought it would be so easy to style when I ordered but turns out I am not stylish enough to do it!

Thanks in advance

It looks good how it’s styled, do you have a specific style?

I would go long sleeve black top, bare legs and heels for evening and tights and chunky black boots for more casual (for example work Xmas drinks/dinner).

I found this article helpful when I got really stuck about how to style a sparkly skirt www.theguardian.com/fashion/2025/nov/07/party-dressing-cocktail-t-shirt-cashmere-wool

I wear my sequin skirt with a plain white tshirt tucked in and a black blazer for a more casual look.
To dress up I'd go with a black top, tights and boots 😀

These skirts are all I wear over the creative season. For a more casual lunchy vibe I would wear that with a black polo neck, black tights and knee high black flat boots.

To dress it up I would swap the polo for a black cami / smart vest sort of top that is sleeveless, deep v-neck, thick straps. And I would swap the flat boots for high heeled boots or black suede high stilettos and a black blazer or bolero.

I like mine with a black polo neck jumper, black tights and DMs, or I substitute the DMs for heeled ankle boots for slightly dressier. Or I like a black t-shirt, black velvet jacket, tights and heeled ankle boots.

I don't really have a specific style. If it is comedy and makes me happy I wear it!

Edited

I do love my docs although my 1460s have died but got knee high ones. I don't have any heeled boots any more although I keep looking at the docs with heels. I think I need some heeled boots as I can't go bare legged as they look like corned beef in the cold and black tights will be better with boots I think.
Black isn't a great colour on me for tops as I am really pale with very light hair too but maybe with the right accessories I can carry it off
