I’ve got £169. Desperately saving for a Dyson hairdryer.

I also got a £28 treatbox. No idea what’s in it, but there’s nothing I really want now. Just P’d off I got the hourglass palette at full price when they came out and now 20% off everywhere.

The packaging is beautiful.

Do you know about the boots recycling scheme? I used it for the first time recently it’s quite easy. They accept dental floss cases and electric toothbrush heads, so it’s quite easy to have five to deposit each time you spend £10 in Boots. Then you receive 500 points or £5.

@OvaHere ooo, Meteorites have always bred non my wish list 😇 but now that I have found CT highlighter I’m not sure I can justify it. Is it on offer on Escentual? I might have a look. I’m only looking today 😅

The only problem I have is that my workplace moved out of town so I only go once a month to get my brows done. My high street spending has decreased dramatically.

I can understand you feeling miffed that they have put up the spend threshold. I looked last night but thought id hold out as i thought it was pretty rubbish. Not that I need anything but would have found some gifts.
I do think this gwp is a lot better though. Can you not buy a few gifts to get to the spend so you are not buying for the sake of it ♥️

Oh I need pans. But as someone stated above that kind of shopping doesn't give the same buzz as sparkly boxes, lip gloss, etc. 🤣♥️

@Doglover73 that was me! All I really need is new hiking boots after my beloved 20 year old meindls finally gave up the ghost. But I find it so dull looking at things like that plus my old boots were so comfy and faithfully did so many miles and walks that I am afraid I will never find the perfect successors! Hence why I’ve been easily distracted by pointless shiny things 🤣. I also need to treat my old boy lab to a smart new collar which is something I do like shopping for!

Thankyou, that discount got me more off the stockings than the other discounts id tried! Ordered 3 stockings just under £60.

I just don't have that many people to buy for who would want Sephora gifts also it's a nice gwp but I don't especially want anything that's in it.

Let's face it there's always another sale and another gwp around the corner with the major beauty retailers so I'm just going to put the stuff on a wish list for another time.

Absolutely. They'll be different days in Dec then Jan sales that used to only start in Jan but now from Nov at the latest 👍

I'm returning the CB supreme skin edit (paid £68 before latest drop in price), decided it was overkill as I have the Space NK BAC. I've had enough of Beauty stuff now, feel overhwlemed by BF and a bit sickly, like I've eaten too many chocs.

I’ve ordered a Mon Guerlain gift set from Escentual. With the BF discount, the extra code and a few loyalty points I had, it was £38.53 for 50ml of eau de parfum , a perfume mini and some body lotion, with free shipping. I am wondering if the big online beauty retailers are waiting to see how much they can make off us all today and, if sales aren’t quite what they had hoped for, there will be further reductions/incentives such as GWP over the weekend.

It’s what I would do - if it was my decision - why further reduce if you don’t have to 😹

Does anyone use the NARS radiant creamy concealer and/or the light reflecting foundation?

I use the NARS concealer and really like it but I’ve not tried the foundation 😊

I'm also suffering with BF fatigue I think. The constant scanning for ever-changing 'better' offers has bored and frustrated me! Probably a sign there's nothing I really need. I popped into SNK on Oxford Street yesterday but the ndulge system wasn't working so they were offering to print receipts you'd then have to bring back to store to scan to get points - who's going to remember/have time for that?

I did like the Bamford Hamper that was posted on one of the threads recently so I went to their site to check out any offers and they are a bit naughty imo - the sets that are marked as 50% off were just hugely overpriced in the first place - the actual contents value is only half of what the set is selling for, then they've discounted the set by 50% - so basically just brought the sets down to the usual value of the contents. Sneaky!

I went RL shopping this pm and there were no exciting offers, or much of anything on offer, tbh. I didn’t buy anything, (although I found myself strangely drawn to a White Stuff quilted h/w bottle!

I picked up my M&S order of yet more hair care and the Sea Salt Neroli fragrance to try. Sadly I don’t like the smell of the perfume so will probably pass it onto my friend - it doesn’t smell sea salty at all! Is it supposed to be a dupe of the JM sea salty one?

I use the light reflecting foundation in Mont Blanc. It works well for my combination skin although I wish there was a lighter shade that wasn’t so incredibly pink (looking at you Oslo).
