Blonde v brunette

I have been blonde since the age of 12. I’ve bounced between very blonde and a cooler darker blonde, but it’s always been blonde. I’m 27 now and I’m a little bored of it, but it feels like a huge shift. Naturally I’m a pretty medium brown.

I get extensions as well so it would be a big shift. My main draw though is not having to get my roots done.

can anyone drop some medium brown hair inspo pics??

Maybe an ombre type look to start? Keep the blonde on the end with darker roots and maybe a few low lights?

I like the ombre / root stretch approach. Been doing that for years and it means I only need to top up colour every 9 months or so. I am naturally light brown and went back to natural / medium brown for a while but I look much better blonde so ombre is best of both worlds

I’m just a bit sick of the blonde. It always ends up warm and I don’t think it suits me as much as it used to

Do you use purple shampoo/conditioner? I found that key in keeping in cool

Maybe go for bronde? Tried to post a pic but wont let me
