Looking for a cosy navy blue jumper, budget around £100. Crew neck. Wool or wool mix. Modern silhouette. Already tried Finisterre. Where else?

Oh my, those are gorgeous, exactly what I'm after, thank you @Gedsmum and @SiobahnRoy.

@SiobahnRoy, what's the sizing like? And also, is it itchy at all?

I’m a 14 and have the large, it’s a nice fit. Not itchy, lovely and soft!

I've also got the Jigsaw compact wool cashmere blend jumper in navy and I absolutely love it. I'm a 10/12 with broad shoulders and bought a large. The medium fitted well but it was a neat, smart fit. The large gives a more casual weekend kind of look.

Something here might work.

Ruthietuthie · 13/11/2025 02:39

I have the first jigsaw one, the thinner one, and it isn't itchy at all.

QuietCorner · 14/11/2025 09:43

Thanks @TheSandgroper but I am afraid Woolovers wouldn't fulfil my 'modern silhouette' requirement. 😊
There's a 30% off Jigsaw discount code circulating (ASSOCIATE30) but for some reason I cannot apply it to my basket. Anyone been able to use it?

It worked for me on the third attempt and reduced a £389 coat that I absolutely cannot afford to £272 .. which I still cannot afford, however the jumper might fall into my basket as I saw it in store today and it is rather lovely!! Thank you for sharing the code and I hope it will work for you!

QuietCorner · 14/11/2025 21:17

glad it worked for you @Tretamateur . did you have an account already with jigsaw or did you create one?

@QuietCorner … neither! Just added things to the basket and put the code in. Might have hit guest checkout. Haven’t processed it yet as have been out but my basket shows the discounted rate.

CakeIsNotAvailable · 14/11/2025 22:18

Cos can be good for jumpers in natural fibres which have a modern silhouette. I'm wearing a navy blue wool jumper from Cos today - sadly not current season though!

QuietCorner · 14/11/2025 22:31

Cos is usually my go to place, love their jumpers @CakeIsNotAvailable. No navy at the moment but i'll keep checking.😊

I hope not, but your basket might change when you try to continue.

Just a warning, the Jigsaw 'compact' wool blend jumpers pill/bobble very badly. I have some lovely clothes from Jigsaw and I was gutted by last winters green jumper going into a bobbly mess literally on the first wearing. I still wear it but it needs shaving every time and I know it won't last well. Read the reviews on John Lewis website. I think someone had one shrink as well. For that price they could have made it in pure lambswool and it would have been perfect.

Tretamateur · 14/11/2025 23:57

@QuietCorner .. possibly! @NotMeNoNo’s post has made me hesitate! I had been looking at this from Uniqlo before I saw your thread. It isn’t as nice/modern a shape though.

Mumofoneandone · 15/11/2025 05:09

I raid woolovers periodically for their wool jumpers - reasonably good range of jumper designs and colours. FWIW I'm mid 40s and consider myself fairly stylish!!

NotMeNoNo · 15/11/2025 09:49

Has anyone mentioned Community Clothing yet? They are lovely jumpers and fit well. The quality is 10x Woolovers. Navy

Ruthietuthie · 15/11/2025 22:45

If you were willing to spend a little more for something that would last and last, you could get a cashmere one (I like the ultra fine, but all are gorgeous) from Falconeri. The quality of the cashmere is really incredible - plus, because of the quality, it doesn't pill or bobble.
