2025 boots and jeans

I have various Chelsea boots and some fleecy lined biker boots, all ankle/mid calf. In recent years I have embraced the non-skinny jeans and am comfortable in girlfriend styles with loafers or trainers. But how does one wear with winter boots? Back in the days of the skinny jeans they tucked in very nicely.

I see some fashion types in Paris are wearing their jeans properly wide/flared with boots on the inside. Not sure I can pull this off without looking like my mum.

Yes to pointy toe with wide legs, although honestly I think it only looks really nice with heeled boots which just aren't practical for every day (for me anyway).

Cropped flares are working for me OP, with my chunky boots from the last few seasons.

I’ve gone back to skinny jeans this autumn. I think they’re the style that looks best with boots, and the shops are full of them so at least I won’t be the only one wearing them!
