Non sticky lip gloss

Why do companies claim their lip gloss is ‘ non sticky’ when they actually are( sticky)? I’ve just had an ad from Elf,colour looks beautiful claims non sticky of course but even though it’s only £5 I’ve just been stung with NYX one claiming the same. Unless anyone has found an ACTUAL non sticky gloss?

I find lip oils less sticky but still glossy.

Clarins lip oil for me. Hate sticky glosses. I spend most of my time pulling my hair away from my mouth
