Looking for a good quality winter coat.

Hi all,

I am looking for a Parka style warm winter coat for a curvy size 18 woman. I do not like long coats so I want to not be longer than my waist.

I have bought coats from H&M and Evans in the past and found them to be fairly poor quality since they faded after a few washes.

Any recommendations?

I’m guessing you don’t actually mean what you’ve posted about a parka coming to your waist - as a parka, by definition, is quite long.

A parka is knee length. Do you mean a bomber type jacket? Landsend are good and do plus sizes.

A proper parka comes to your just above the knees. I just got a gorgeous wool one from the EMP app. Can't wait for it to get cold enough that I can actually wear it😅
