Black tie - help!

Going to a work event this week and just realised it’s black tie.

Have not been to a black tie event for years and years - probably 20 years! And this will be the first ‘do’ I’ve been to since losing loads of weight.

Mid 40s, 5ft7 and size 10-12.

Have literally no idea what to wear. Any tips or suggestions? I’m going by myself so already pretty nervous about it. Help!

Totally understand your anxiety! But what's your budget, and, as the event is this coming week, what shops are nearby for you to go try on stuff? (as it's a bit late to order online unless you buy quite a few tomorrow then return the ones which aren't right).

Budget is £100-£200 and have a great high street near!
