Japanese pyjamas help please

My dd went to Japan earlier this year and bought these pyjamas. Somehow the bottoms have gone missing. I’m looking to see if I can find similar.

Any recommendations please?

Thank you @WildCherryBlossom some nice stuff but I’m looking for the same ones.

https://www.gu-global.com/us/en/

seems to be the US site.

Importing from overseas will mean customs duty which could be expensive.

As GU is the sister version of Uniqlo, I’d try the UK site first.

There are businesses in Japan that will buy the item in Japan and ship it to you for a fee. No idea how expensive it is.

Thanks, can’t see them on that site unfortunately.

GU is a Uniqlo brand. Also these type of pyjamas are over Temu.

BusterGonad · 09/11/2025 01:54

All 100% cotton

I've just translated the label and they are polyester so you should easily find a replacement on Temu.

As others have said Gu is the cheaper sister to Uniqlo. They do really nice quality cotton shirts for £5 and basics but aren't a fancy brand. I would just get a pair of plain cotton bottoms from a supermarket in one of the colours on the cherry if she wants to wear the top.

Thank you all, I was hoping to get the same ones.

You might want to ask MN if you can update your OP then as that says, " I’m looking to see if I can find similar". If people don't read your updates (and many won't), you'll keep getting suggestions for what it appears that you've asked for - something similar, rather than the exact same ones.

It's a basic Japanese brand with a high turnover of styles (a bit like Primark) so you are highly unlikely to be able to find the matching trousers anywhere now. I would have thought there was more chance of finding the missing ones in your house/your DD's drawers...

I am sure there is a store in japan which sells to people in the other countries.
