In need of your collective wisom, wise women. I've been invited to a Mardi Gras themed Christmas party. What are my options to look classy and subtle but also complying to the theme? I've looked online and can't seem to find anything decent. Fire away with options and ideas and links to dresses...

You could make a giant calendar with February on it, since that's the right time for Mardi Gras but you probably wouldn't feel very glam.

Google the Rio Carnival for more glam inspiration - feathers, sequins, high heels . .

Classy and subtle aren't words associated with Carnival in either Rio or Trinidad. It's almost-naked females wearing a feather and two sequins!

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is different. Lots and lots of beads, purple and green colours, more clothes.
