Short, wide wellies

I have fairly slim calves so don't really like long wellies as they tend to flap, I have had the welly bob type things in the past but they're a bit short.

I am wondering if the ideal of a short welly with a wide foot (have sexy bunions) exists?

Best wellies I ever bought were men's le chameau and they come up mid way. They're super comfy and we're an absolute bargain. Not sure if they still do them like that though.

Still going strong after 12 years!

I have a pair of short joules wellies and have wide feet, they have a fur sole and are really comfy would definitely recommend

I have a pair of dream pairs boots from Amazon. They look like Chelsea boots and are very comfy. I could easily walk miles in them.

Thank you, will go and look all of these up

Muck boots are great - not cheap, but last ages.

Should have said..I got a bargain...they were on Amazon for dirt cheap...I guess men's size 6 is unusual that's why. But maybe you'll get lucky!

Muck boots have a mid calf welly - I’ve had a few pairs as they do leak after a few years. I currently have the ankle wellies from merry people, but they also have a mid calf version. They’re very comfortable but much heavier than the muck boots .

Yes, absolutely — you can find short rubber boots with wide-fit or adjustable width options. Look for brands offering “wide” or “E” fitting and side zip or elastic gusset to accommodate bunions.
