Can’t decide if I’m wearing the boots or if they are wearing me. Clark’s. Not cheap. What do you think. Would probably wear with opaque and a loose above the knee jumper dress. Images will be uploading.

They are lovely, I would keep them

bluewhitebluewhite · 02/11/2025 09:09

Absolutely can’t bear animal print so not for me- but if you like them wear them. They don’t look outrageous.

waffleyversatile1 · 02/11/2025 09:12

Thank you both. I’m not normally an animal print person. These are suede - not shiny but I guess either way they are in your face 😂

No here. I like a bold shoe but these are definitely wearing you

Yamamm · 02/11/2025 09:13

You need to get opinions of people who like animal print as it’s a bit niche. They’re not exactly everyday wear.

dontlikethings · 02/11/2025 09:14

I wouldn't wear them but actually I think they look ok with your black jeans/leggings. I think so long as everything else you were wearing was plain, they could look nice.

Aluna · 02/11/2025 09:16

I think they give a mum trying to be funky vibe.

I don’t mind subtle animal print but this is not.

It also cuts up your legs. I think they’d look much better in a dark colour.

BetterWithPockets · 02/11/2025 09:17

I think they look great on you!

Tiebiter · 02/11/2025 09:18

They'd look better with bootcut jeans over the top

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head.

They’re not exactly everyday wear.
They are where I live.
Theres nothing particularly special about them that thay cant be worn as everyday wear.

Agree with this. They’ll look funky peeping out.

Orogeny · 02/11/2025 09:36

I don't like animal print so I'm biased, but I think the leopard print heel probably makes these a bit in your face even for someone who likes animal print footwear. Definitely keep the rest of your outfit to beige/brown/grey neutrals and/or black (I think black with animal print is cliched, rather than the tasteful or sophisticated approach but plenty of people will disagree).

Hoppinggreen · 02/11/2025 09:38

I like a bit of leopard but I think they re a bit much as you are wearing them. A bit of toe poking out of looser trousers would be better

waffleyversatile1 · 02/11/2025 09:43

Thank you all. Do appreciate the feedback. They weren’t going to be worn with what I’m wearing now but i do think the fact I’m having to ask shows I’m not sure and I made a recent promise to myself that unless I love something and feel totally confident wearing it they are going back!!

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 02/11/2025 09:45

It’s no from me. I don’t like the shape.

ChicJoker · 02/11/2025 09:54

I promise you it’s the jeans. You need a different cut. Try boot leg or even a flare.

they’re wearing you because it’s cutting right off above your ankle making your legs look shorter, combined with a block of black and then a loud print it’s a very abrupt end to the leg if that makes sense.

I think they’d look fabulous with different jeans and an oversized jumper.

but then saying that, if you’re unsure I’d return them as you’re unlikely to get much use out of them if you’re having to hesitate each time you go to wear them (speaking from experience!)

Thanks Chic. So true hence my Vinted listings 🤣

I think it's the jeans, the overall look seems dated.

Richard69 · 02/11/2025 10:01

They are nice. I think they look sexy.

JDM625 · 02/11/2025 10:02

You said they aren't cheap, but animal print always looks cheap to me. The print going down the heel is tacky IMO and I don't like the box shaped toe part. Sorry, but I'm not a fan.

NigelForage · 02/11/2025 10:04

Agree, the jeans are terrible

MsSweeney · 02/11/2025 10:41

I love them. If they are comfortable, keep them. Be different!

waffleyversatile1 · 02/11/2025 10:56

Hi all as mentioned. They were not to wear with what I was wearing. I’m wearing Gabor biker boots it that helps

I quite like them, although not with jeans (you've got great legs by the way). Perhaps wear them with a calf-length, narrow skirt and jumper in a colour picked out from the pattern?
