Mens t-shirts ??

Would anyone be able to help my husband find t-shirts that meet his approval? I must have seen him try on 100 in the last few months so I'm posting on here in hopes of a quiet life really 😄

He's very short, maybe 5ft5? I'm guessing but I'm fairly average for a woman I think and he's maybe a couple inches taller than me. And very small frame but with a bit of a pot belly in recent years which mens t-shirts don't seem to be designed to accommodate..... He looks daft in a very relaxed/boxy fit.

He wants plain, no logo or graphic ideally, in neutral colours. But wants them to be just a bit more interesting as a standalone top , maybe just made from a thicker material or a bit of structure to the collar/cuffs or some seams detailing ?? I don't know really. But cheap packs of basic tees are definitely not cutting it.

Or any other style advice for men's tops really if he is looking for a non existent product... He's a very minimalist dresser and "not one for lots of layers and all that" and just wants a slightly elevated version of his usual t-shirt & jeans uniform.

It just occured to me typing that, are women's t-shirts always structured to fit boobs etc, or could he look for women's relaxed fit t-shirts? His frame just doesn't seem to work with mens t-shirts, he's always buying XS and they're still a bit baggy 🙃

Have you tried Uniqlo?

I'd get him to try some women's tees in M&S! I was thinking that a women's fit might fit his shape better, as they tend to be straighter than men's ones.

Next or River Island?

Mercerised cotton? Try Arne. Great quality and look more than just a lightweight tshirt

Uniqlo women’s T shirts are quite boxy and I don’t think they’re aimed at the bigger bosom. The cotton ones feel really sturdy
