Which puffer jacket?

I’m after a short puffer jacket. Which one do people think is nicest?

I tried this one on in Zara today, it’s lovely and comfy. But which colour?

I prefer the black. I’ve had a few khaki coats the last few years, including a puffer, and I think I’ve got a bit sick of it. Black will match more too. I do like the white but I’d worry it would get easily marked.

LarryIsMyRomanEmpire · 01/11/2025 20:04

I love the white, but it's not exactly practical!

Denim4ever · 01/11/2025 20:08

Black, but I think you will get little wear out of such a short jacket length

Owly11 · 01/11/2025 20:21

Khaki

NotChristmasjustyet · 01/11/2025 20:25

I tried the white on in store and it’s so nice.

The pictures don’t really do it justice, but it would be absolutely filthy in no time wouldn’t it?

The white would be so grubby so quickly. Black puffas are so ubiquitous. Khaki is cool
and versatile. Definitely khaki!

ThatshallotBaby · 01/11/2025 21:00

Khaki has got my vote.

mdinbc · 01/11/2025 21:07

You will disappear into a sea of black puffers if you choose the black! Either cream or khaki is better in my opinion. Whatever matches your wardrobe better.

If you buy the cream, give it a spray with waterproofing to help keep off the dirt.(it will wipe off better)

endofthecorridoor · 02/11/2025 10:50

Khaki. B,ack is boring and you probably have one and I'm shuddering at the thought of the make up lines round that high collar of the white. But I do like it

Why would she get little wear out of a short jacket?

Er, it says 'such a short jacket' as in too short to keep one warm after a certain point of winter.

I don't know where you live but even as a cold blooded Ireland dweller I still manage to wear short jackets through the majority of winter on dry days, albeit sometimes with a hat/scarf/gloves, without freezing.

But this is almost cropped. I wear short jacjets too, but this one looks a bit too short in the body for comfort

Viviennemary · 03/11/2025 09:11

I think the black would go with more outfits. Agree the white is not very practical. Not keen on thd green one

stargirl27 · 03/11/2025 12:03

I have a Super Puff from Aritzia (Canadian brand), it's a bit pricier than Zara but the quality is amazing. It keeps you warm up to -20 degrees.

In terms of UK brands I like the Uniqlo one!

ThatPinkShark · 06/11/2025 05:48

Black, I guess. It's more dirt-resistant.

You're never going to need to wear that in the UK, though!

I wear it in winter in London and I'm not an especially 'cold' person. I don't get overheated in it!

UpMyself · 06/11/2025 12:09

It's too short. Your back and bum will be cold. It's very mild here right now, but it won't be when the weather turns.

EachandEveryone · 06/11/2025 13:14

Has anyone seen any longer ones that are nice?
