I think HRT would work to some extent but only if starting early enough, so during peri menopause to stall further damage for as long as possible.
Once damage sets in, I can't see how it can be reversed through HRT medication.
Purely anecdotal evidence: my aunt started HRT late 30s after hysterectomy. This is going back a few decades. Her skin and hair look amazing especially compared to her sister's of similar age who looks a lot older with the quality of her skin and hair and has been through standard evolution through menopause, incidentally or HRT because it was considered dangerous at the time.
Both genetically related, I would say the aunt has had a lot more stress and hardship in general throughout her life, similar skincare routines and diets, zero smoking and zero drinking, similar environmental factors.
Foreo Bear is definitely very good and I agree it needs consistency otherwise everything unravels. In my case it doesn't do anything for lines or skin surface as such but it does re-set contours, I can see it along the jawline. Again, the earlier you start, the better. Daily commitment as much as practically possible but it is a very quick treatment which works.
Regarding Tretinoin from abroad, yes it is the basic paste formulation with no other ingredients to mitigate potential sensitivity issues. I have been using it for a long time and started on 0.5 very, very, very, very slowly. I don't think there's a need to go up to the next percentage, apparently there isn't much of a difference in anti-ageing results. I use it 3 times a week now.
I think my skin is somewhat robust, but I have been cautious about using harsh exfoliants, for example I have never knowingly used glycolic acid on my face. Saying that, I can't use Vitamin C, I tried all sort of serums, either too tingly, or they hurt or cause redness or, at best, don't do anything or feel weird on my skin.
