Whats your job environment like ?
What do you like wearing?
What do you want to pair the tops with?
Do you have any features you want to highlight/hide?
How formal/casual do you want to look?
Do you enjoy wearing bright colours or neutrals?
Do you need winter tops or summer tops?
What sort of shapes do you like for tops (fitted vs floaty)?
Are there any practical implications ( desk job vs out and about job) ?
Are you okay with prints/florals or do you want plain colour tops?
Are there any materials you prefer or try to avoid?
What sort of shape are you?
What is your budget?

Unhelpful comment but totally read this as a kitchen question ;)

If this is a new workplace might be worth being there a bit before splurging… I like to see what temperature is like!

There doesn’t seem to be much workwear stocked in physical shops anymore, it’s all online! This time of year is tricky too because it’s all Christmas party wear.

H&M does have some workwear bits online, same with Mango and Zara. I find Next have the best selection online and it arrives to store the next day which is v handy.

Thanks it's corporate environment but more smart casual ( no jeans)

I have some new black ankle grazers from Zara with loafers so something to wear on top

I also have slight baggier grey trousers to wear with black boots

Have you looked at all the Uniqlo collabs? Uniqlo : C etc? They probably have everything you need.

I love the Uniqlo 100% Merino crew neck. I have about 6 different colours, they’re nice quality but still light so work for varying office temperatures!

following, i need things to wear with black trousers or dark jeans. I quite like a shirt but so many in the shops are massively oversized or got too many frilly bits on them!

What do you wear these with, I love these but have no idea what trousers work.

I wear them tucked into high waisted wide leg trousers. As an hourglass, this silhouette really works for me. The Abercrombie and Fitch Sloan trousers are amazing for this, I’ve got a grey check pair that work particularly well for the burgundy top.

Have also worn them with high waisted flared black jeans but this look requires a blazer to balance out the hourglass too. Sometimes a belt to look really smart.

Thanks I really lkie the look of the Uniqlo sweaters

Go and have a look at Zara. The styles are nice and the prices are reasonable.
