Boohoo returns

Has anyone had issues with boohoo returns?
my daughter has ordered 4 items, they have come and the sizing is terrible, they are rubbish quality and they stink of chemicals, I’ve requested a refund but they have said it’s gift card only and cannot be changed, I only received this week so within 30 days.
I have complained but apparently they still can’t change the refund method

I returned something recently. It was extremely slow to process the refund and get the payment but I was refunded to my original payment method and not a gift card.

Have you gone throughy the returns portal? It suggests you choose the refund method there and can choose store credit or to the method you used to pay for it

It came up with the options for original and gift card then reloaded the page and logged me out, when I got back in it said return via gift card and wouldn’t let me change it.
