SPF moisturiser recommendations

Has anyone got any recommendations for a one particularly for dry skin but also sensitive skin?
I’ve used cetaphil daily defence moisturer spf 50 for a while now, but they’ve changed the recipe I think as it’s very different now, irritates my skin and a weird consistency, so looking to jump to something else.

Skn To Skn! They do an incredible SPF and it's made for pregnant women, so it's incredible for people with senstive skin. I honestly swear by it.....and I'm not pregnant! Their whole range is incredible, my fave is the cleanser and the SPF moisturiser. I think there is a mumsnet discount code somewhere, I saw a review on here xx

Thank you! Going to try and find a code.

I’ve learnt this year that your SPF needs to be separate from your moisturiser otherwise it basically doesn’t work. I use any moisturiser and then on top I use Biore UV aqua rich water spf 50. It’s brilliant. It’s light, settles in, absolutely no residue. Highly recommend it.

La Roche Posaay Anthelios

I recommend the one from La roche posay. I have been maintaining my routine for quite sometime after some research with that and will share here if that provides any help:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
LRP spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

I like both the Biore and La Roche Posay ones.

Aveeno do a nice SPF moisturiser for sensitive skin.

LRP's cicaplast is one of a gem

Why doesn’t it work? I use the LRP SPF50 moisturiser and it seems good.

I use the same and it works for me

Comefromaway · 18/02/2026 09:47

I use Cerave spf 30 in the winter/days when I only walk from the car park to the office and spf 30 for summer/days when I go out for an actual walk.

My daughter swears by Byoma Face Fluid

I've also heard that La Roche Posay is good also Ambre Solair

I use ultraviolette sunscreen spf 50. Make sure you choose one that works for UVA and UVB.
