Short trouser problem

Have I just become really old fashioned?!

My problem is I have a gorgeous pair of cigarette cut trousers. I want to wear them but it’s cold and they rise up further when I sit down.

I want to wear them with brogues or loafers, but I don’t want to wear nothing on my feet. Pop socks are rubbish as always roll down, but I like that bare legged look without being bare legged/ footed. However I want to wear these trousers throughout the winter. Would you wear socks with them? Socks sort of feels wrong to me but maybe I’m just really out of touch.

Nude tights under your trousers?

I wear viscose knee length socks in this situation in winter, they sell good ones in m&s.

If you use moisturiser on your legs first, then put pop sox on, I find they stay up better!

If the brogues/loafers are a bit chunky, then yes to socks. Cream, or ones that tone with shoe colour, or an Argyll pattern, or red … Great way to add some (fashionable) personality into an outfit right now.
