Wide feet people, where do you find stylish shoes/ankle boots that are comfortable?

I’m particularly looking for some loafers, and some ankle boots with a side zip. Every pair I put my feet in just feel uncomfortably tight. I need plenty of space for my toes too! Any suggestions gratefully received, thank you.

Simply be and Yours clothing do lots of wide/extra wide shoes

Bpiece · 27/10/2025 21:19

Simply Be are good for wide fit, including calves. I got knee length flat black boots from them last year that are very comfortable.
i have also had wide ballet flats from New Look rather surprisingly.

Softies boots and shoes - the soft leather is amazingly soft and comfortable for wide feet. Also Fly boots.

SeaAndStars · 27/10/2025 21:28

Josef Seibel make shoes that fit my ridiculously wide feet.

Canle1905 · 27/10/2025 21:33

I have several pairs of Legero boots, wide fitting and with a zip. Some are even gore-tex. Very comfortable.

I also have their sandals and trainers and there is no bedding in time and I can walk for miles in them all.

If you don't mind spending, then look at Sole Bliss and Sargasso & Grey. I've got boots from both that I've lived in - I've got wide feet and they're seriously comfortable from the word go and have the distinct advantage of not looking like they've come out of a magazine in the GP surgery!!

Some Vionic shoes are comfy too along with Birkenstock.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 27/10/2025 21:45

I find Solovair run wider.

I wasn’t expecting so many suggestions, thanks so much everyone. At least I know I am not alone in my wide feet and the need for comfort plus style!

I love my Hotter boots. Soft leather, shock absorbing soles. 2 side zips. Had them 8 years and still in really good condition, no wear on the heels. 3 choices of width. I live in them in the winter.

For boots, Carl Scarpa. For shoes Esska. For trainers New Balance. For walking boots, Merrell.

Ifonlyiweretaller · 27/10/2025 22:19

I discovered heavenly feet earlier this year and now have their own version of Birkies in 4 colours, 2 pairs of trainers and a pair of ankle boots! All worn from day one with no breaking in required 😊 they are vegan friendly (ie not leather ) but seem excellent quality.

next are great. Most of their shoes they offer a wide version too. You’re definitely not alone…all about comfort and style Smile

DiscoBeat · 27/10/2025 22:50

Rocket Dog are comfortable and generously wide

Algoquick · 27/10/2025 22:51

Dune do wide fitting options online.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 27/10/2025 23:19

My boots are Ecco Men's range. That won't suit if you want a heel, but I prefer flats anyway.

My favourite boots that actually make me smile when I wear them are from Pavers . The most amazing, comfortable boots I have ever worn and they look great.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 28/10/2025 07:54

Blundstone half sizes are the “wide” of that size ie: 7.5 is the same length as 7, but wider.

Fozzleyplum · 28/10/2025 07:57

Geox Norize loafers have a wide toe box.
