Coat for plus size apple

Posting in desperation as I am feeling so down about my general appearance.

I am freezing!! I need a coat that works for a plus size (size 22 apple). I can't find anything and I'm feeling really down about spending another winter freezing! I find coats that do up around my huge tummy are then too long on the arms and baggy/shapeless around the shoulders. Maybe I just have to put up with it and accept I'm a weird shape!!

It ideally would have a hood, be practical for walking the dog, running around after 3 kids under 10 but id like it to be a little stylish or just not horrifically frumpy!

Just wondering if any other plus size ladies out there might have something to recommend or anyone has spotted something that might work!

I don't have any advice (I have no sense of fashion myself), but I wanted to answer your thread to perhaps give it some visibility.

I found a really nice duffel style coat - it looks lovely with my boots and jeans and is warm and practical with a nice big hood. Really pleased with it! For really wet days I'll rely on my (ugly) padded coat 😉
