Fine knits 100% wool (or wool & cashmere)

I like to wear a white cotton fitted tshirt (long or short sleeves) under things in summer. I'm now looking for similar for winter in fine wool.

I have a heap of the 'extra fine merino wool' from Uniqlo - gorgeous colours and almost as light & fine as a cotton tshirt, but they get holes & run as soon as I look at them. I'm not great at darning!

I've ordered this fine knitted long sleeve jumper from & Other Stories, but I'm wondering if any of you have other recommendations for fitted long sleeve wool tshirt style jumpers? Fine kit not chunky.

M&S have some. I prefer the men’s they’re longer.

ooo thanks, I hadn't thought of M&S - I usually find their stuff soooooo boring. But I basically want something like a fine knit wool long-sleeved tshirt. So I'll have a look!

How mich were you thinking? If you've got something specific in mind, speak to an independent wool shop as they may be able to have something knitted up for you.

I have many of these sweaters, from Falconeri - it is their ultra fine cashmere, woven from extremely long cashmere strands so it doesn't pull, get holes in, or pill. They come in MANY colors. A sweater like this will last you a lifetime.

All the H&M brands do them - Other Stories, Cos, Arket and sometimes H&M. I also have some from Dilling which are slightly thicker.

Ooo thanks everyone! A lot more possiblities than I realised. Price not really a problem if I can find what I want. I make most of my clothes, but I don't knit. Buying really fine woollen jersey fabric is tricky. If I could buy the fabric, I could make what I want.

And the Cos one looks like what I'm looking for. I don't really buy clothes (I can make them so much better) and when I have tried it, Cos was drafted for a different shaped body than mine (I have broad hips & broad shoulders and a small waist - Cos drafts for a squarer body) but those jumpers look lovely.

I’ve been impressed with the quality from Dilling, especially given the very reasonable price. They’re a snug fit though so I’d recommend sizing up if you try them.
