The perfect jumper

Help me find the perfect jumper. Needs to be warm for northern weather, casual enough for jeans and trainers but smart enough to change from trainers into boots for an afternoon in a nice pub.

White Stuff do lots of nice smart/casual jumpers?
I have a pale coloured starry one

I also have a nice chunky knit bright green v neck that you can wear with jeans or to work (if no suit required). I think this was New Look!

I had the perfect jumper - from White Stuff - funnel neck, oatmeal colour, wool with light specks of of colour. I absolutely loved it but it shrank when someone dried it on the radiator. I've been looking for something similar.

What's your budget? M and S have some lovely neutral cashmere.....

I like H&M for knitwear.

@Kazplus2 M&S have great knitwear this winter. Really like their scarf cardigan. Plus the Fairisle styles are very good. I also have the Argyle maroon/green one and it’s so good with my new maroon coat. Lots of very decent walk to pub knitwear.

Just looked - my maroon one must have sold out! These are good value and spot on for this winter though.
