The jeans? They suit you ❤️

TheChosenTwo · 25/10/2025 11:48

I’m not keen on the turn ups personally but I like the colour and the fit and lots of people are wearing jeans with big turn ups right now, a very popular look.

BringBackCatsEyes · 25/10/2025 11:51

Thanks. I’m just a bit sad and need cheering up. These are R length and I usually have L, but none in store.

Sorry to hear you’re sad, will the jeans cheer you up? Now you mentioned the length they would be more up my street slightly longer!
What shop are you in and do you have more options to scratch the itch of a bit of therapeutic shopping?

Pinknotpurple · 25/10/2025 12:17

The shape and fit are great on you

SayLessPan · 25/10/2025 12:17

They’re a bit … meh. Look like something you have in your wardrobe for nothing days - not like a fabulous new thing you’re about to spend money on. I would want something more distinct - in colour or shape or weight of fabric or …

RosesAndHellebores · 25/10/2025 12:19

They will shrink. Order a long.

henlake7 · 25/10/2025 12:21

Id say they are ok. They look fine on you, but I dont think they are transformative (you know the kind of jeans I mean!!LOL).😄

Fluffywabbits · 25/10/2025 12:30

A longer length would be better in my view - agree need to allow for shrinkage

1apenny2apenny · 25/10/2025 12:32

They look ok but they need a chunky trainer imo. Surely a long would be all bunched up?

Purplecatshopaholic · 25/10/2025 12:34

If they make you feel good op, then get them and enjoy!

Vitriolinsanity · 25/10/2025 12:46

Ok.

My advice if you’re looking to splash some cash is to warm up with buying something like a mascara. Limber up your credit card gently.

Then pound the shit out of it on something amazing.

BringBackCatsEyes · 25/10/2025 12:55

Thanks again.
I got them and am out of town now.
I am not meant to be spending money and I know the buzz will be short lived.
They are pretty big on me (that’s the fit obv) so I can shuffle them lower on my hips if they need to look longer.
I think it’s more likely the fabric will loosen up with washing and they’ll be too big all over rather than shrink in length.
They’re Next.

Agree with this

You can do better

Think they will shrink as well when you wash them

In a way they are to wear instead of my absolute favourite pair of wide legs jeans, so I don't wear them out. So, it's OK not to look transformative every single day...ha ha.

I've never had a problem with jeans shrinking. Tightening up a bit, but then loosening when wearing again.

I didn't have time to spend the day browsing. As long as they don't look awful I'm OK with them.

I'm wearing Adidas Campus which are pretty chunky. I'm not going to get another pair of trainers so the Campus will have to do.
Depending on how much longer the L would be they may indeed have not hung so smoothly. I am 5' 8" so tall, but not like some of the younger generation!

My big sis has spoken!
They're going back. I took another couple of photos at home and they're really not the best fit on me.
I'll save the £.
The little buzz was nice. The £ in my account is preferable.
