Anyone had subtle filler?

Hiya
I've had botox a few times in the past. I like it. I never get any bruising or marks afterwards which I also like. There's zero downtime.

I'm considering getting some very subtle filler as I'm noticing some jowls starting and it's starting to get me down.

I'm worried about swelling and downtime though. Everything I see online says there is some swelling or bruising afterwards

Does anyone on here have personal experience of filler and can you let me know how it was for you? I want it to be really subtle, I don't want to have a puffy face!

Thanks in advance

If you’re looking to treat jowls do you mean filler in your mid face or cheeks?

Enough filler to lift your face enough to make a noticeable difference to jowls is going to be anything but subtle.

This is a really bad use of filler IMO.

I assume you mean filler into the lines around your mouth - marionette lines? I have had this done very successfully several times. It really makes a difference. I don't get much bruising at all and I'm on a blood thinner. It's nothing more than can be covered up with concealer. It doesn't cause puffiness for any length of time.

The other poster is referring to where filler is used to try to lift the cheeks to try to pull skin up and where filler is applied across tops of cheeks. It's the kind of procedure that does give people the chipmunk cheek look and should be avoided.
