It's true - you can get the nylon Le Pliage repaired.

I took my rucksack in to the store in Regent Street and they checked it over and said it can be sent for repair - my corners had started to go (if they go too far its irreparable) - it goes back to France and will take 8-10 weeks - will update when I get it back

That’s interesting @BeaLola
My DD recently bought one for her birthday and I did hear a customer asking about repairs and the sales associate said the bags were sent away.
Can I ask, did you have receipts or proof of purchase? I have a Le Pliage which I bought over 20 years ago and has a few snags in the corner. I might take it in if they are happy to take them without receipts etc.
Please update this thread, I’d be interested to see how the repair goes.

No I didn't have a receipt, assistant asked - I said no - I reckon I d had it about 10 years (they no longer make this rucksack), she took pictures - she did comment that the inside label had worn away the detail. Each of the 4 corners was slightly damaged - apparently within their guidelines to repair - forgot to add it was FOC - I will need to collect from London Store

All she stressed (apart from if holes are too big it cannot be repaired) was that each item can only be repaired once in its lifetime

I’ve just had a look at mine, it doesn’t have a label inside and checked DD’s and hers
does.
The corners aren’t that bad to be honest, just slightly frayed.
It’s the large travel bag, I don’t use it day to day. It normally gets an airing when we go on holiday and I used it as my hospital bag when my DDs were born.
Sounds like great service though and I mentioned to my DD about the repair service. She is absolutely loving hers already!
How do you find the rucksack?

@BeaLola that's great news!

After reading a thread on here I took my bag in, but sadly it was too badly frayed. I've started using an insert to try and keep it going a bit longer.
