Best deep conditioning treatment from M&S?

Like it says - thoughts on a really good deep conditioning treatment which I could buy from one of the large M&S? Happy for wash-out, leave-in, overnight, whatever.

Am late 40s, peri-menopausal, have v thick hair but noticed it feeling drier in the past 6 months (regular straightening isn't helping I know), plus some thinning around my temples. Lovely hairdresser has recommended deep conditioners in the first instance to address this. Thanks!

My daughters swim a lot and their hair was suffering - we've started using L'Oréal glycolic gloss once or twice a week, and it's definitely made a difference, especially to DD1 who has very thick and wavy/curly hair.

Edit: I don't know if M & S stock it, but plenty of supermarkets, ocado, and amazon do!

Does it need to be from m&s? They’re not really known for hair care!

I wouldn’t bother with olaplex OP though it’s considered a very high end one - I think it either works great for you or doesn’t at all so can be an expensive mistake!

@Lifejigsaw The big stores carry a lot of different brands and I'll be near one of big stores this afternoon and was hoping to tag it together with a beauty advent calendar! Superdrug or Boots would also work too.

See if they have Philip Kingsley or aveda.

ainsleysanob · 24/10/2025 09:52

Philip Kingsley Elastizer once or twice a week overnight. You can get it in big boots but QVC offer good offers on it!

Sagaciously · 24/10/2025 10:00

I think they sell Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. This is the best, imo.

Aveda hair mask. Game changer but is £40!!!

MissyB1 · 24/10/2025 10:56

Yes they sell Phillips Kingsley and Aveda.

I bought the Color Wow x Chris Appleton Money Masque in a bright blue tub when M&S had 20% off everything. I bought the travel size to try it and love it so will be buying the big one. My hair feels much more hydrated and smoother, and I've had lots of compliments since I've been using it.

M&S have a great range of high-end beauty and hair. Ours stocks Living Proof, Colour Poof, Percy and Reed, Aveda etc.

Another vote for Elasticizer from me. Leave it on for a while and cover with a shower cap.

Amazing, thanks everyone! Have just seen that they've got a special Aveda pack with 2 treatments in which would fit the bill, but also might try to get some miniatures of the rest.
