Best sensitive roll on deodorant?

I have used peachy coloured Sanex sensitive roll on for years, but recently it’s not been working so well for me.
I don’t have particularly sensitive skin generally, but some deodorants seem to make my armpits really sore, so I try to stick with deodorants that are kind to skin.
Does anyone have any recommendations of really affective roll ons that are gentle?

Yes, I do. I've recently changed to pure alum stone, it's superb and 100% natural: https://www.frenchsoaps.co.uk/products/alum-stone-deodorant

Before I was using the roll on that this company also sell. Also very good, I've used that for a couple of years. just thought I'd try the new one.

I have the same issue with deodorants that I have used for years now causing irritation - I switched to Make Waves | Award-winning Natural Antiperspirant & Deodorant

and so far no sensitivity issues. Its not roll on but more of a solid cream.

Salt Of the Earth roll on suits my very sensitive skin, and works!

ghostyslovesheets · 24/10/2025 18:09

Moogoo it’s the only one I don’t react to - Amazon sell it

I have sensitive skin but have found the Dove roll on to be very good, no itching at all

Passthecake30 · 24/10/2025 20:56

I’m allergic to dove and sanex, but ok with Sure. I’ve just started using fussy while the weather is cooler (don’t like wet pits so prefer an antiperspirant in the summer), and I’m impressed, it’s really moisturising, so I’m definitely going to use it where I can.

Am similarly sensitive - found Neals Yard peppermint roll on a few years ago and have stuck with that as no reaction whatsoever. Can order from them direct or buy in Waitrose.

It’s most likely the fragrance that is making you itchy. Even naturally scented products cause issues. I’m allergic to fragrance and can only use doves antiperspirant sensitive stick fragrance free

That’s odd @Thingsthatgobecause that’s my go-to deodorant and I’ve also found it to be less effective recently.

By mistake my DS ordered Nivea for men sensitive stick deodorant instead of spray so he gave it to me, I’ve been buying it since myself.

Try Ineos roll on. I used Mitchum sticks for years & years but found it just wasn't working anymore. I had read an article about Ineos products and liked that I could just buy refills, so gave it a try. It's amazing ! It dries almost instantly so no stickiness and it lasts so long, my first one lasted 4 months of daily use. Most supermarkets sell them, as do Boots and Amazon. I've converted my husband and teenage grandaughters.

Garamousalata · 25/10/2025 22:42

I came on to recommend Sanex, it’s the only one I’m not allergic to. Sorry.

My teen DD has very sensitive skin and the only one that hasn’t made her itch is Dove cream

BankfieldForever · 26/10/2025 00:19

I use the peach Sanex (no problems yet, fingers crossed, I love it) and the Neals Yard Rose and Geranium roll on interchangeably.

I use the Mitchum solid stick or the push up cream if I have a day where I need to stay really dry.

I tried Fussy, Wild and Moogoo before setting on these and absolutely hated them, which was annoying, the Fussy one cost a fortune and it made me so, so sore.

I like the sanex derma care stick. It lasts for ages and works fine for me in cooler weather.
I have to use triple dry in summer, and use the sanex stick under my bust then and never had a skin problem.
