Barefoot Shoes

My child (age 12, size 3) has sensory issues I believe. Notably in shoe shopping. Trainers not too bad but the type of shoes you can wear for school are incredibly problematic over the last few years. Shoe shopping stresses her out.
Before September we tried every shoe in town in her size there was only one that felt comfortable for her. And those shoes broke after a month.
So trying again. She's tried better quality shoes on today and again every shoe she tried on the fit was uncomfortable.

Has anyone/children tried Barefoot shoes?
Are there as good as they're supposed to be?
Is there any ones/places you'd recommend?

I tried them for my daughter. I have worn vivo barefoot myself and they are very barefoot style shoes as in you can really feel every bump in the floor. I would try those because you will get the best idea if barefoot is what you are actually after. I ordered online. It is hard to find shops which stock them.

Yeah that's the problem. I would never normally order online to be honest. But got no choice. She's so so hard to buy school shoes for that I feel like I've got to at least try it now

They've been great for my son, who had a real issue with shoes. They had to be done up super tight, which I thought initially meant to liked super structured shoes. But then thought perhaps it was because they felt clumpy, so he needed them 'well attached'.

We got a pair of Vivos, which he likes very much and will happily wear.

We got black, and he wears them for school as well. I keep an eye on Vinted as well for other pairs.
