@JoRaRaRa , it was totally clear that you were just being kind and passing on a what we thought was a great promotion . And whether I get it not It was a nice thought with no malice what’s so ever.

I would have a still may pay full price for the box if I hear from PS .

I did however spend a good hour trying to get hold of someone from DX delivery in there mistaken belief that I had cancelled the order . I didn’t know any of this until I saw the ongoing saga .I was being a bit sniffy with a delivery company when it wasn’t there fault either ! I have had previous with some delivery company’s saying they couldn’t find me or simply items gone rogue .

if some people saw it was a glitch and ordered several boxes that’s for their conscious not mine but I don’t like the inference When it started as a cheery bargain . Quiet spoilt the vibe 😢

I’ve missed all the PS furore!

For a few years I’ve made up AC for my kids and it’s so fun but time consuming and expensive! I use an old Birchbox calendar as it’s huge. I put chocolate, decorations, toiletries & fun gifts in it and they love it. I usually trawl Home Bargains, B&M and Boots. For DD I bought the OK BAC as it seemed easier and probably less expensive than making her one up! I’ve just opened and looked through it and it’s lovely. DH suggest I nick any bits I like for me but she’d notice. I think we’ll do swaps.

ive got Arran for me and Liberty is winging its way to me after much deliberation. I’ve had various others before including a running one, wine one and I missed out on a cake one but I’ll be watching for any amazing discounts in the few weeks.

Just to add that a couple of years ago I subscribed to Birchbox at about this time of year and received an enormous advent calendar with my first box, free of charge. Another reason why I initially assumed this was a free gift for subscribing rather than a glitch and was kicking myself for not subscribing for the PS quarterly box.

I also made up a AC for my mum . I bought ok and LF and did a mash up and then put the rest in a basket for my best friend so it works out really well . My mum was really pleased as I gave it to her on her bday in October she has it sat on her fireplace and she gives it a gentle stoke

I'm being a total idiot but can anyone explain what the acronyms RHOBAC and DOD mean? 😂 I get the gist of what both mean, but the not actual words. I guess "BAC" stands for Beauty Advent Calendar but what about the rest 😆

no shade on anyone I had an email from them to say I wasn’t getting the box , I’ve responded saying I’ve got it but am willing to pay for it . But I did point out that their CS needs work .

My Rituals advent calendar arrived today, I’ve not opened yet but the box is HUGE! I literally have nowhere to put it - the postman was laughing at my dismay trying to figure out what to do with it 🙈😅 Give him credit though, he asked “is it one of those advent calendars”… I presume he was correctly referring to a beauty type and not something along the knickers line (Ann Summers/Love Honey)… though he did stay and chat a while 🤣

The box is literally an eyesore in my living room, it’s a good job I don’t need to hide it from my husband - it could fit the dog in! 😅

I think he definitely thought it was a naughty calendar, probably why he stayed for a chat 😉🤣

Is it the wreath one? I've been into 4 different ritual stores over the last few days to try to see it but none of them have the actual items on display.

I never saw the wreath one on display but it looks good online. I saw the rectangle box one (presumably from last year) at York outlet recently, that was a good one but slightly more expensive than what I paid for this

Cult Beauty have quite a nice fragrance GWP today, free with £80 spend on the app. There are also a couple of discount codes on Beauty Detective. I've bought the Hourglass Swan palette and my usual setting powder plus the GWP for around £100.
