Oh dear, after having a little strop at not being offered a 25% off HN code, I've only gone and ordered 4 (yes, 4) CB stockings. Two are for gifts (maybe), but I "needed" a little boost, ahem.

On its way today is my Perfume Society autumn subscription box, with the "free" essence discovery box - can't wait! Also will be collecting my Next scent beauty box after 1pm.

I need to stop ordering stuff now.

Ive been found out! After I received my Perfume Society order on Friday, I decided that I woukd take out a subscription, and thought that the Essence Deluxe box would make a lovely birthday present for a friend, so added everything in the same order as a couple of others did, and received an email confirming just the cost of the subscription. I’ve just had an email to say that they’ve noticed there is a problem in their system so I won’t be getting the perfume box 😆😆. So well done to those of you who managed to get a free box before they realised!

Same! I just posted too in SOTD thread. I wasn't paying attention enough when it was first discussed and only over the weekend realised what an absolute bargain it was so decided to order!

I'm glad for them they have sorted their issues but congrats to those who got the deal😉

My perfume Society is due to be delivered today . 🤞

I kind of feel a bit bad about it. They don't seem like a big company like the The Hut Group (LF, CB etc). I'll keep my subscription running for a while at least.

Maybe this is why HN do the discrete targeted offer codes, to avoid annoying people who have paid full price?

@TripTrapTripTrapTrip I bought the fragrance calendar as soon as it was released as it sold out really quickly last year. I was starting to feel unloved when I didn’t get a code, but you might be right about them not wanting to annoy people who’ve paid the full price. I agree with @OchonAgusOchonOh that it’s the price we pay for knowing that we’ve got something we really want. I would have been really upset if I’d waited and it had sold out.

My PS order is due today, I hope I get the deluxe box as that was what I actually wanted.

I am definitely done now, I’ve got BACs, FACs and BBs galore, and no storage left!

I am second guessing if I should get the CB make up stocking though, for my niece. I had planned to gift some of my surplus stock along with some money, but I feel like the stocking really sets off the gift.

Or buy a nice stocking that she can let you fill each year

My PS order arrived about an hour ago and both boxes were included, so I would think you'll get them too if they are due today. I think we were some of the last orders to go through. They are gorgeous btw!

I must admit I am glad the Perfume society have picked up their IT glitch. I didn’t use the offer as it didn’t sit right with me (no judgement on those who did) . I think particularly as this is a small enterprise, stuff like this can really affect their bottom line hopefully they haven’t lost too much money from it

Some posters on the perfumistas thread saying their box has been recalled so if you get it today you are lucky. I wonder how many they sent out before they realised.

My PS box was ‘unable to be delivered’ but the courier website has allowed me to rebook delivery for tomorrow. I’m not hugely hopeful though

I paid full price for the £150 one if it makes it any better!
