I got the 10% code a day or maybe two before getting the 25% off code. It actually didn’t work on the fragrance advent which I’m now very pleased about. Hopefully, you’ll get a code soon.

I succumbed and got the HN fragrance, sigh....

I didn't get a code but my friend did. We both sat on it for a day then she rang me to say she was going to buy and said I've got got 2 in my basket, do you want one or not?

How could I say no? 😬

Anyway, I still have one sat in my own basket from when I was trying to invoke the algorithm. If by some miracle they do send me a code I will pass it on.

Question for Vinted users and I hope it's OK to ask here (I asked under Shopping but no replies).
Have they changed the settings for delivery? The only option I get if I want to order something is for home delivery. No choice for delivery to collection point. I tried on different items as a test and home delivery is the only option.
My own settings are for everything but I think that's for me as a seller not a buyer.
Is this the same for other buyers so you can only get deliveries to home address?

I think Vinted is being very glitchy recently, I bought something today and could use Inpost and collect from the locker and most of my sales have been Evri and a mix of home address deliveries and shop pickups.

When it comes to fragrance unfortunately yes. She's the reason I started taking an interest in perfume. Just over a year ago I had 1 perfume and an ancient travel size and now....😳

In return I've had some success in skincare and make up influencing but not as much. I did get her to buy AB The Rich Cream and Liberty Advent though so I consider those a win! 😂

We do swap quite a bit of stuff so it's all good for now. We've agreed a mutual low buy 2026 buddy system. We'll see how that goes.

@Branster I don’t think my bank balance could cope!

Irl, people balk when they hear I spend £250 + on ONE advent calendar. If they knew the extent of my ahem ‘habit’ I’d be carted off in a strait jacket 😂.

Luckily, OH understands (tolerates), DC benefit (whilst thinking I’m mad) and I have no other vices. I save for this all year - it brings me joy and I get to try gorgeous products all year round.

I think this may depend on how much you use Vinted. I've bought dozens of things lately and it always gives me either my usual inpost delivery option (my local Spar) or my Evri pick up point (my local Tesco) I've only had a home delivery option once in my last, say, 30 purchases. When i first started buying from Vinted, my option was only ever from lockers. It may also depend on your area I guess.

@Addictedtobeauty none of my friends know how much I spend on skincare or how much I have. They'd organise an intervention! I do have tons of stuff but I give away lots and have been reasonably good at sticking to a budget. My own play money for skincare only. Rather elastic depending on what I really really want but then I reign it in for a while.
I don't if I'd enjoy it as much if I had unlimited funds.

@OvaHere you can be really really good for 2026. Having a friend doing the same might actually be a God sent for having a break. Keep each other accountable.

There might be some sort of algorithm, I didn't think of that. I should buy more but that would defeat the object of trying to get a bargain and save.

@Branster Re Vinted - I bought something today. I was offered only InPost to collect and when I switched to home delivery, the only option was Royal Mail.
Is it something to do with the options the seller selects?

Vinted is only giving me Evri (boo, hiss) as an option for beauty items, is this a thing now?

I did wonder if it was dependent on the seller selections. But I randomly test tried on different items snd it was the same.
I sent a message to Vinted help section maybe they can explain what is going on.

If by some chance she doesn’t then I will happily accept ❤️

Re Vinted, the seller selects delivery options but it would seem odd that all had limited options to only home delivery. I would think that if Evri is an option then you would normally be able to get either home delivery or store collection as it makes no difference to the buyer which one it is? Sounds like maybe a Vinted glitch.

I’m hoping for some good AC reductions over the next week, I think so many more were already sold out this time last year. Hopefully they’re getting nervous about it and we get lucky 🤞

Re Vinted, I’ve literally just purchased something and thought it was strange that it only gave home delivery as an option.
From what I can gather, they defaulted to Evri because there was some issue with Yodel, and now Evri is overwhelmed and keep losing or having to return items.
With Evri, recently a fragrance I purchased went missing, and one item I sold has been returned and another is still in limbo (presumed missing at this point).
I do worry now about buying Christmas presents (from anywhere using these couriers), if they are already struggling with demand

Hmm there might be some issues with couriers then, perhaps limiting delivery to pick up points because they are overwhelmed.
I only had Evri and home delivery as the only available option. I only gathered it was Evry because of the price and the one order I placed I had an email from Evri saying they are expecting it.

I picked up my HN fragrance calendar this afternoon with click and collect after ordering it only this morning. Thanks again @Shinny for the code!

Before that I tried everything I could think of with my basket; added a £400 item to look like a "proper" HN shopper, added 2 advents, added the advent to my wishlist, cleared cookies and started again. I still have no enail from them but of course if one comes through I'll share it here.

My perfume stash is growing so fast with all these advents and edits. I'm not even attempting to justify it, its my hobby and I enjoy discovering and collecting them all. I've read they can last years if stored properly and I might start keeping the boxes to help this.

Don't they usually sell out?!

Reporting in on a successful day at the Hbeauty carnival!
Really enjoyed it despite the huge crowds and not getting a dry bar £10 hairdo as the queue was approx an 1 hour wait 🙃 DD20 and I both spent £60 ( I got 2 new Kylie Xmas sets, she got clarins eau dynamisante which she was after - very old school I thought - maybe it’s back on trend ) and we got our 10% discounts. No advents in sight sadly .
We got 5 free minis of our choice and then another full size prize after we spun the wheel . I won a Kylie gloss and she got a dry bar product called Southern Belle I think it’s a volumising spray.
We then did the tombola ticket grabber and both got a pink ticket which was the lowest box, oh well! I think some people might have been cheating because you could read the tickets and it seemed that it was only pink left ! I won a dry bar dry shampoo and DD got a Kylie blusher, and they put them in the tote bags for us . We were delighted with our haul and I thought it was good value for the £15 each I paid for the tickets . There were masterclasses going on and a girl was DJing. We saw empty glasses but were never offered a drink , maybe just as well as going by the dregs the drinks were blue and green 🙃!!

I only got into them last year and I think a lot had sold out by this time, but from what other more knowledgeable people have said on here there have been some good discounts in some previous years.
