I put one in my basket around 12pm went through to checkout and back again then left it in the basket. Absolutely nada! Friend just messaged me to say HN have sent her 25% off 🙄😂
I shouldn't even be contemplating another frag calendar. I think I'm just offended at not being picked.

I have only ever signed up and never purchased, this is the biggest discount they have sent me.

The sending of the discount code to only certain customers seems really random - there must be some sort of algorithm/AI that is doing it i'm sure its not completely random. I did get the email for the BAC but not the fragrance. Luckily thanks to a PP I did get a code, so managed to get one - suprised they are still on sale as last year they sold out. Maybe they had more available but due to cost of living etc didn't shift as many as they hoped to. With the discount it is really good value.

10% off which is not amazing but I’m looking forward to the goody bag and tombola, and the masterclasses. I’m going with DD20.
I could be tempted if they have the £99 calendar in stock with the discount . I have a £50 gift card so girl maths makes this come out at £40 which is a no brainer !

I went to it at the metrocentre and it was brilliant! I had such a fun day. A tip someone else told me on here was to try to buy your £60 purchase for the freebies ASAP, so you can get into the freebie queue. Then you're not queuing for hours and can use the rest of the time to wander around the store / have a blow dry or facial, go to masterclasses etc. Hope you have an amazing day and make sure you come back and tell us all about it. Hopefully you can get your hands on the h&b calendar, but maybe think of other things you'd like in case they don't have it 🩷

I've finally given in and ordered an advent calender after years of looking longingly at them. I'm starting low with the Gruum calendar at £50 including a silk pillowcase which will find it's way to being a raffle prize it a Christmas present!

Totally agree with this strategy. And aim to get the 2nd slot for the lucky dip thing. The first slot is at store owning time so you're queuing whilst everyone else is shopping. The 2nd slot was pretty much walk straight in. People arriving for opening time were getting slots for noon onwards so a long time to wait.

Thanks both ! We are the afternoon session so it starts at 2.30. It says you can queue from 1pm so thinking it might be a bit crazy but I’m not keen on queuing 1.5 hours just to get in the door . Will go along early and scope it out. They send you a list of the goodies for the goody bag so you can think about what you’d like. Not sure what to get with my 10% as it’s not much of a discount so if there’s no advents I will look for something I could only get at Harrods, sometimes they do collabs with brands. My daughter will need to spend £60 too to get a goody bag so no doubt I’ll need to “help” her with that too!

They’re nuts cos theyve sent it to me after the mess when I bought BAC & saw fat discounts, so asked for one, was rudely told no so sent it back. There’s no CS planning on these totally random discounts!!

Indeed, I phoned customer services yesterday to ask how I could get a code as a rewards member. They called me back later just to say 'computer says no'.

Strange way to do business when the people that want to buy can't and those that may be completely uninterested are sent the code.

Luckily one of the lovely posters on here gave me hers.

I’d be quite interested in that calendar as I need a new silk pillowcase anyway. They don’t say yet what is in it though, other than 3 items, or have you seen the contents somewhere?

I don’t get why they don’t just reduce the calendars by 25% for everyone, as that way they would quickly sell out.
I have played around with adding the calendar to my basket and removing it again but no code sent to me.

I'd love a code too if nobody wants it!
