Well, it's completely normal part of ageing and most people have these, but if it bothers you, the solution is tear trough fillers. Apparantly fillers can migrate and make things alot worse so I would do alot of research about what can go wrong before commiting.

Mine bother me, but not enough to consider filler, or surgery.

Beverley Hills V-lift, little miracle in a bottle BEVERLY HILLS V-Lift Instant Eye Lift and Tuck Bee Venom Serum for Treating Puffy Eyes, Dark Circles, and Wrinkles : Amazon.co.uk: Beauty It's a skin tightening serum, I use it every day and it lasts all day no need to reapply. Not tried it with make-up but I have read you can just ensure it is fully dried first. Or even accounts of people mixing a little foundation with it before applying

I use Anusol on my eye bags (obs only on there !) does help shrink them slightly

Deathlyhollows · 21/10/2025 15:55

Wow @TheCaribbeanIsCallingMe they are incredible results!
I was really hoping surgery or fillers wouldn’t be the only way as my anxiety wouldn’t let me have either. Was hoping for some magic elixir of potions but thinking I’m being too wishful?

I have had profilo under my eyes. I’m quite disappointed though it has helped a bit

Ifyounevergiveup · 21/10/2025 21:09

I don’t have bags but hollows and I tried tear trough filler. IMO it made very little difference - and now and again I swear I can see the filler and I squash it with my finger! I’m a fan of tweakments, I love a bit of Botox, and some gentle lip filler stopped me looking like our late Queen had bequeathed me her mouth, but honestly when it comes to eyes I think there’s little option other than surgery. I’m having my upper lids done next year and I was surprised, it costs less than I thought it would and they do free 12 month financing! Btw if anyone is sick of their saggy upper lids, you can get eyelid lift stickers from Amazon in different sizes; excellent once you get the knack and they helped me postpone surgery for about five years until I’ve had to accept they don’t do them in a big enough size to help me any more!

@Flowerpower70 Amazon here's a link. I use mine every day and one pot has lasted 6 - 7 months, a bargain at under £20 www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07YQ8LPZ5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-notopic-nothread

Profhilo shouldn’t be injected under the eyes btw. It win cause too much puffiness. Google BAP technique-this is how it should be injected.

StrawberrySquash · 21/10/2025 23:36

It's now fashionable to leave them. I saw it on Instagram.
Result!

2 minutes! It’s a skin tightening serum. You apply it dries voila done

corkymycorkface · 22/10/2025 00:29

There was a Darphin product that really worked for me. Can't remember which one it was. And a product called MyPerfectEyes although I think they changed the product name. It was miraculous in its results but you couldn't use it with makeup or moisturiser iirc. Except mineral makeup powder type things.

Ruthietuthie · 22/10/2025 00:47

Filler isn't generally right for this kind of under eye issue, where you have puffiness perhaps more than hollows. The filler can attract more fluid to the area, making it worse. Try cutting out salt and drinking a load of water each day to see if this helps the puffs. If this doesn't help, surgery is the best option.

WittyCyanPombear · 22/10/2025 07:58

whatever you do don't do fillers there
