Waterproof winter coat.....

For the last few years I've searched for the "unicorn" of waterproof winter coats, and last week I found it!!
It's a dark green fully lined parker, with a zip and poppers and a decent sized hood. I'm 5'11" and can't quite believe that I now own a warm, waterproof coat with long enough sleeves....

Well done. I splashed out on a North Face coat last Black Friday. I’d bought a few “waterproof” jackets and coats but the NF one is the only one that is truly waterproof. Perfect for dog walks when I really don’t want to be going on a dog walk!

My Barbour coat manages to be both warm, lightweight and fully waterproof, with a good-sized hood. It’s below the knee, too, so with wellies or tall boots on, I am fully rainproof.

Unfortunately I’ve had it for a few years and have grown to hate it, as it’s so useful I feel trapped in it for 6 months of the year.
