Not really beauty or style but I'd like a throw!

Not sure where to post this but I'd like a couple of really lovely throws but I am not sure where to look. Online is best. I don't want the type of throw there in the shops at the moment which is very thin, no Sherpa type material to liner to it - does that make sense. I don't want the type you can easily get in Primark or Home Bargains. I thought Next had one but it was a duvet cover with a thin duvet in it rather than a throw or may be it's a blanket I want. I'd really like tartan but that's not vital.

Love a throw….

What’s your budget and what do you want to use it for? (Keep you warm on the sofa, cover the sofa, bedspread or something else?)

Do you prefer natural materials (cotton, wool) or happy with synthetic (cheaper)?

The British Blanket Company do some nice ones. They're mostly wool and although a bit pricey, they are beautifully made.

Oh questions. Ok. Up to £100 each I think. Hadn't given that much thought though. I'd like them to be machine washable. One is for my bed. DH doesn't like a warm duvet so we have a thin one and I have a blanket on top. The other is for the sofa and more to stage it than cuddle it.

I like greens and blues and ideally fairly big in size so it can be folded over.

Thanks. These are gorgeous but more blankety than throws. I'd like something soft like a throw but just most substance and better quality than those in the shops I've mentioned.

Next have a number of throws in blue or green velvet and some quilted cotton ones all of which would be soft. Velvet should look good for styling too.

The Scots of Stow is the closest to what I am looking for. I just want bigger.

I have THESE.
They feel luxurious and heavy and are lined ❤️
