M and S trousers for smart casual office - short with a tum and bum

As the title suggested really- I am 5’2 and been wearing a wide leg but fancy something a little closer fitted for winter - draughty in wide legs ! I’ve got a tummy and a bum that stick out but happy to tuck in a top. I’ve got a bit of a waist but am nowhere near an hourglass. More like a spoon 🤣. Legs are proportionally short too to the rest of me. If you in any way resemble me and have recently purchased a pair of m and s trousers please tell me which (I have a voucher so am stuck with m and s for now - skint )

To be honest I’ve bought a few pairs recently but they’ve all been wide legged. I’ve been wearing with trainers so far and have been very happy. I do have some of their straight legs too which are fitted and a bit neater but think the wide legged are more comfortable

I have their barrel trousers in a black and a stone/mole colour.

i'm the same shape as you and I love their ankle length cigarette pants (M and S) in black with a nice top and sometimes a heel and sometimes flats. They are smart, comfortable, easy to wash and very reasonably priced.

I had some cigarette pants I loved but gained weight and got rid and they’d now fit me again. Gutting !
