Victoria Beckham's hairstyle

I absolutely love the shape and style of VB's hair in the new Netflix documentary. Pic attached.
I know it will have been styled by an army, but does anyone know what I would ask my hairdresser for if I want this? I can show her a photo of course, but I'd like to describe it too so I definitely get what I want.
Does she have layers? How would I get that perfect subtle wave (without being a millionaire!)?

I saw the Jack Mead cut and in the comments loads of people have asked for a tutorial on how to do the curling thing. (I suspect he used straighteners). I really like that style too but I have dead straight hair so really need to learn how to put that kink in it.

Without implying that my hair looks nearly as good as VB’s, I recently got a very similar haircut. My hair is quite thick and the cut involved a lot of layering, though this isn’t obvious when it is styled.

The cut released some waves so - again without implying my hair looks as good as VB’s - I get a decent approximation of this style with leave in conditioner and sometime mousse. It feels like a minor miracle.

She’s got great hair.

Vitriolinsanity · 17/10/2025 19:19

I loved the cut and style and colour. None of her best hairstyles work for me as the PP said, her hair isn’t particularly thick - see also Jen Aniston.

Both can get the beach wave with just one turn on a curler. I can do mine like it only on rollers.

Sassylovesbooks · 17/10/2025 21:10

I liked Victoria's hair style and the colour.

PanderBare · 17/10/2025 21:25

I don't like it.

I think of definitely need a few long layers cut into my hair to get me closer to the shape I like

It looks nice in photos, but in her Netflix doc you can see it has shitloads of product in it and looks stiff at the front with no movement, and scruffy at the back. It's one of those hairstyles that only looks good in creleb photos, unfortunately.,

The wave effect is done with straighteners

BeanQuisine · 18/10/2025 02:12

Reminds me of Worzel Gummidge's hairdo.

MrsFannyButton · 18/10/2025 02:18

Check out @mathilde_heather on Instagram. Her hair is very similar and she does tutorials on how to style, as well as what to ask for at the hairdresser.

The style is a blunt cut with no layering, and the look is achieved with a straightener.

lavendarwillow · 18/10/2025 02:44

This is a popular look at the moment. Lucy Mecklenburgh from TOWIE has it and it really suits her as do lots of influencers and school mums it seems. However, agree with a previous post that it’s definitely not a style for thick hair. Thick hair is better longer, otherwise it will just buff up.

Mardyybum · 18/10/2025 05:22

My hair is very similar and I style it like this most days.
I asked for a long bob, my hairdresser does a lot of thinning as I have thick hair, also very subtle long layers to break it up.
I do the ‘wave’ using wide plate straighteners. It only takes a couple of minutes and is really easy to do - you could look for a tutorial video for this if you’re not sure.
I don’t use any product other than heat protection but you could use a texturising spray/powder.

I don't like it.

Ok?

What's the relevance of that comment in relation to the OP question 🤣

PanderBare · 18/10/2025 09:05

@Namechangerage , what's the relevance of yours?
