Anyone else buying today?

Britpopbaby · 16/10/2025 08:20

I’ve just seen that there is a new range out ( I suspected as much as she has designed the advent calendar) The only thing I am tempted by is the PJs but I wouldn’t spend £50 on M& S PJs on a normal day so don’t think I will be buying them.

HellonHeels · 16/10/2025 08:24

The slogan jumpers look a bit tired to me. Could be tempted by a candle.

Pumpkincatbow · 16/10/2025 08:30

All the jumpers are crew neck so I won't be buying. The black trousers and white shirt look like school uniform!

Rosebud987 · 16/10/2025 08:30

I got a few of the advent calendar’s which she designed ☺️

Screamingabdabz · 16/10/2025 08:34

Boring crew neck jumpers with words on. Groundbreaking.

CrostaDiPizza · 16/10/2025 08:51

I won't be buying, but I prefer crew neck to other necklines.

mirrorsandlights · 16/10/2025 08:57

From what I can see, that’s hardly a collection. A few dated looking jumpers with slogans on, some unremarkable pjs and some homeware tat. Overpriced as well.

Savethechocolatecake · 16/10/2025 09:07

When I look at the advent calendar it usually has a buy x amount and get the advent calendar for x. This year that hasn't appeared - is that right?

Spend 35, calendar is 60.

BunfightBetty · 16/10/2025 09:22

It's all very uninspiring to me. And overpriced. Not going to be buying.

EgregiouslyOverdressed · 16/10/2025 09:23

I love the velvet trouser suit but it's completely sold out in the long length.

Fuck off - don't tell us to be kind!

Just had a look online. So naff. John Lewis have much nice pjs. I'd never wear slogan ones. Reminds me of day of the week knickers .Can't think of a single occasion in my 60 year old life of having a ball where a jumper that said 'wham bam' or 'kind' would be my first choice of outfit. Velvet suits for Christmas/ New Year parties have been around for so many years now. They only look good on the tall and slim . Black coat ideal as a funeral coat. At 60 I already have a good quality funeral coat. Wouldn't wear a black coat for any other occasion .

My thoughts exactly. Why this misogynistic bullshit is still going on is beyond me.

I’m terrible and got FOMO! might return or sell on gasp Vinted

I bought a candle. I had a couple from her “own range” via Cult Beauty a few years back which I loved, then we had the empty jars sitting on the alcoves on the side of the mantelpiece. I knocked one into the hearth and smashed it just last week so this was timely. Her own ones were about £50 each so happy to take a punt on £15.

I used to have quite a few BF sweaters about five years ago but I’m over that now and sold them all.

I did the same @Corknut Corknut - but I happened to be passing an M&S this orning and can try on and decide at leisure now.

Got the green and pink jumper but not sure about the slogans - esp for the pink. Ditto pyjamas, which are lovely but the slogan is naff. Best buy was probably the velvet jacket - there were no trousers to be seen ... last year I got a lot from this collection (but no jumpers) and wore it all the time.

BTW to whoever said school uniform, BF has said she had a hippy childhood and always wanted to wear a nice, square uniform so it's no coincidence.

owlpassport · 16/10/2025 10:58

This totally passed me by this year, I feel it was more well-advertised last year. I got a few of the jumpers last year and I liked the jeans but couldn't get my size. I don't like the designs this year at all, the only thing worth a look is the velvet suit but already sold out. Some of the home stuff is okay and quite well-priced; the napkins, the candle and the sleep mask.

Lanva · 16/10/2025 11:01

The jumpers do seem a bit old fashioned. School uniform for grownups and stern instructions to beeeeeeeeeeekind is very 2020. Let's all dress up as prefects, tell everyone off, and pretend we're revolutionaries! 😂

I think we're more into let's dress up as the Breakfast Club and pretend we're rebels now aren't we?

CrostaDiPizza · 16/10/2025 11:44

@lanva, that jacket is dreadful.

Lanva · 16/10/2025 12:22

I'm not saying it's amazing, lol, I'm saying it's what is happening. Crew necked slogan jumpers are not happening.

CrostaDiPizza · 16/10/2025 12:34

@Lanva , True on both points but I see a lot of slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts.

The slogan jumpers and pjs look naff as anything
