WFH- cosy top thats also smart.

Hi all,

I work a few days from home and really need a jumper to wear on calls.

This top needs to be semi smart- no hoodie or half zip. A roll neck jumper would be good. Preferably black, navy or a quiet colour.

I also get really cold in my drafty house so something really really warm too.

Im finding it hard to find something!

My current go to are thinner ribbed turtle neck jumpers with a strappy top and long sleeved top underneath. I then either just wear that with trousers or throw on a pinafore dress over the top. Looks neat and warm.

Get a thermal base layer so you can wear what you like on top.

Why can’t you wear a hoodie? Does wearing one impact your productivity?

I've got a couple of jumpers from Hobbs that are smart enough to wear on work calls and I wear them with thermals underneath. If I'm wearing a dress or a blouse then I'll wear them with a merino wool sweater in a small size underneath in place of a thermal vest.

My productivity isn't affected but my rule of thumb is that if I wouldn't wear a hoodie to work (which I wouldn't) then I wouldn't wear it at home - I'm still working and still having the same calls and meetings, just in a different location.

OP, I wear thin long sleeved thermal Tshirts under my work clothes.

Or I wear long sleeved lambswool crew necks with a t shirt underneath.
