What’s “in” hair colouring wise?

I want to get my hair coloured for the first time in a while. I last had a balayage and it’s a bit grown out now. Is there anything new/more current in hair colouring fashions?

For info my hair is naturally dark brown and I like it long.

Round here everyone has the same - brown hair with a blonde money piece, parted in the middle, long with some waves towards the end.

Hate the money piece thing (sorry!). With your colouring I’d consider some rich caramel colouring.
