I would say don't get it. The Diptyque candle is 70g, it is not a make-or-break item. You can get that for £37, or 190g for £58 (plus you could probably find a 10% code). If you're keen to try perfumes go to the shops and try some testers for free (assuming no mobility issues etc). Have you read up on all the scents on Fragrantica? I did and it put me right off, despite the fact I really like some Malin & Goetz scents.

We have a Christmas desk decorating competition at work and I did think last year I should stack all my advent calendars around my desk and screens 🤣

@ShesNeverSeenAShadeOfGray i think if you're already thinking of getting the makeup then you can get the other stuff for basically free in a beautiful AC, you just don't get to pick your own makeup.

Sounds like a great way to get some peace and quiet 🤣

@Linesman code: 40PLUS for Look Fantastic, but it doesn’t work on the a/c. You can get a little bit back via TCB or Quidco, (assuming it tracks).

Oh this is upsetting. I was too slow on both occasions and missed out. The 'coming soon' on the LF website had given me hope that there would be more!

I was hoping the ‘coming soon’ meant the LF was being restocked too but apparently not. Very misleading. 😞

Does the HN FAC layout annoy anyone else? Why 5 pink drawers and 7 red? Why not 6 each? It doesn't appear even. I didn't think I had ocd, but this is really messing with my head 🤣

My 25% off ASOS order has just landed. My goodness, those minis are mini! I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. (The shampoo and conditioner I ordered will probably do one or two washes at most!)

I have put a SR mini moisturiser duo into door 7 of the Liberty calendar and the lip balm into door 23, along with two of yesterday’s BD items and put the BD perfume into door 16.

Liberty is now full again. I left it on display for a few minutes but DH was laughing at me, so I have reboxed it!

@IlovePond after dithering over buying the CT with 25% discount for DD I did purchase it but there was a glitch and the order didn't go through on asos even though the paypal payment was set up.

Had to spend time on CS chat yesterday to find out the PP payment will eventually be rejected so I have to wait and then go back to them with the proof of discount if I want to order again.

I'm feeling like I might not bother repurchasing as I wasn't 100% certain DD would really love the AC so maybe it's a sign.

That’s a bit annoying @OvaHere - it would be far better for their reputation if ASOS just offered you a 25% discount to buy another one. They don’t need proof - they know full well you put an order in and had the discount the other day!

As you say, though, maybe it’s for the best if you’re not 100% sure if your DD would like it. (However, it’s a beautiful box, and I do think it’s ‘worth it’ with 25% off.)

@Christmaschristmas - the mini Sunday Riley moisturiser duo as it was reduced and I have never tried any of their products and a Glow Hub lip balm. I also got a couple of hair products but failed to realise just how small 40ml of shampoo actually is 😹

I was pleased to get 25% off - I am wondering if they gave that to everyone on the day.

I am really looking forward to trying the SR moisturisers - I feel that I am very late in getting round to Sunday Riley. The nearest I have got so far is the Aldi tumeric and Vit C oil- SR dupe - which is very nice, btw!

This is exactly why I didn't buy the Korres advent calendar when it was shared last week. The sizes in that are totally shocking. Most are 15 and 20 ml, with a few 'bigger ones' that are 30 and 40ml. I think they are also shampoos. To me, these are basically samples. It's different with fragrances I think, where you might want to try before committing to a full size, but honestly what's the point of a 40ml shampoo other than to take with you if you're going for a weekend away.

I've been having a browse today, but nothing is really catching my eye. (Well, not at full price) I've got two Eve Lom gift sets and two Neals Yeard products on their way from Vinted, so I'm looking forward to those.

No, I was only offered 20% off. They didn't have the CT set that I was after, so I didn't bother in the end and bought an LE lip gloss instead 😊

Oops sorry 😇 I keep seeing adverts for it (why doesn't your phone know when you've already bought it especially when you bought it using the phone 🤣), the more I see it, the more I try to think of a better way to order them 🤣 I need some unboxing videos or something to watch I think. I'm going insane 😵‍💫

@RainbowZebraWarrior - I completely agree. I am wishing now I had saved my money on the haircare, (it was still super-expensive with the discount, even though it was tiny!) Having said that, I have just used it to wash my hair and am not impressed, so at least I didn’t spend an absolute fortune on the larger sizes!

Btw: Your toadstool from the other thread is a thing of beauty!

On the plus side: I am happy enough with the SR minis and the lip balm AND they fitted in the Liberty drawers!
